WELCOME TO YEAR 3!
We will have Computing lessons every Thursday morning.
OUR DIGITAL LEADER IS SARA.
We all love going online to share photos, talk to friends and play games. But do we always know who we are talking to? We will be thinking about our personal information and being kind online.
After we think about how we use computers to communicate, we will be learning about how computers communicate with each other. We will learn about pixels, binary and packet data.
Computing in Year 3
In Year 3 we use iPads and laptops to help us learn about computing. We begin to use Scratch for programming and learn about the global collaboration when programming. We will create digital art, input and output devices, how the Internet works and also have fun with lots of unplugged activities.
