Computing

Welcome to Year 4/5!

We will have Computing lessons every Tuesday afternoon.

OUR DIGITAL LEADER IS VIOLET

SPRING

We all love going online to share images, videos and chat to friends.  But does everyone behave appropriately?  Is everything we see true?  We will be thinking about why so many online images are filtered, does it matter and why is there so much fake content online.

As we get closer to Easter we will be breaking down problems into smaller steps.  This should help when faced with hundreds of lovely chocolate eggs!  Finally for this term we will develop our debugging skills.

Computing in Year 4/5

In Year 4/5 we use iPads and laptops to help us learn about computing. We become better programmers in Scratch introducing selection to our programs.  We will create films, learn how to make our Internet searches more efficient and have fun with unplugged activities.
