Academic Achievements
SATs are undertaken by children in both Year 2 and Year 6. Only in extenuating circumstances will children not sit these examinations.
In Year 1, all children will sit a phonics screening check that tests their phonics ability, knowledge/awareness and capability. Again, only in extenuating circumstances will children not sit this check.
At the end of FS2, all children will be marked based on their progress made throughout the year. Looking at each class as a whole, a percentage is given for the amount of children within that class that reached a good level of development.
