School E-Safety Rules

The Arches E-Safety Rules

  1. I will always ask a grown up for permission to use the internet.

  2. When on the internet I will never add people I don’t know to my account.

  3. I will only use the internet when an adult is with me.

  4. I will never ever give my home address or phone number to anybody. I will always keep my password a secret.

Remember that superheroes have secret identities!

  5.  I will always be safe and have fun on the internet.

Key Stage 2

  1. I understand that I must not bring software or downloads into school without permission

  2. I understand that I must never give my home address, phone number or arrange to meet someone I don’t know.

  3. We can write and send polite messages, texts or emails to people we know.

  4. I will ask for permission before opening an email or link with an attachment from someone I don’t know.

  5. I understand that the school monitors my computer files and the internet sites I visit.

  6. I will only use my own network login and password, which I will keep secret.

  7. I know that not everyone tells the truth online, I will always check information.

  8. We do not write silly or mean things about another person when we use computers, laptops, mobiles, ipads, DS’s, x-boxes or other ICT equipment.

  9. I understand that if I deliberately break these rules, I may not be allowed to use internet or computers.

Keep your digital footprint SMALL.
