School SENCo: Miss Nicky Johnson Miss Johnson

Our link Governor is Mrs Sheila Little.

Thank you for visiting our SEND website page! As a school, we are passionate about providing the best education for all children, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We are ambitious about all our children with SEND being taught in their classroom with peers with additional support and interventions to meet their learning needs. Our Headteacher, Mrs Ashfield, is a leader who drives SEND through our calm ethos across the school.

Support may be given in a variety of ways, intensive small group work or one to one support. A huge range of additional and different interventions are provided to those with SEND, tailored to your child's academic, social or emotional needs. Our school has a plethora of interventions to support emotional needs as we realise children go through times where they may need some additional support to help deal with their emotions.

During a recent pupil voice survey (2023), 100% of SEND children asked said they are in class with their peers and friends. 86% said they work with another adult in school for an intervention. 86% gave lunchtimes a 9/10 or higher.

If you have any SEND queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher for a meeting initially or we can organise a meeting with Miss Johnson.

Please see below for our SEND information report which has detailed questions answered.

Please find below the link to the Cheshire West Live Well page. It has support for families with SEND queries.
