A very warm welcome to Year 3s class page!

Welcome back to the Spring Term! 
 As Spring has sprung outside, in the classroom we are looking forward to a term of blooming confidence, growing skills, and lots of exciting learning. We can’t wait to watch the children flourish as we learn and grow together.

We hope the information will help you support your child’s learning!

Home Learning

Homework will be sent out on a Thursday and is expected to be returned by Tuesday. Homework is intended to extend the learning outside of school and to be enjoyed.

Reading is a lifelong skill; we have created a calming library area within the classroom where children are encouraged to read and share a book. Please continue this at home, encourage your child to read for pleasure and enjoy a ‘good book’. Reading daily, for a short time, is a great habit to get into.

PE

PE days are Monday (inside) and Friday (outside, weather permitting). Please make sure your child has their kit with them on those days.

PE Kit:

A plain white or purple t-shirt

Plain black shorts, joggers or leggings

February Half Term Holiday

Break up: Friday 13th February 2026

Return: Monday 23rd February 2026

Easter Holiday

Break up: Wednesday 2nd April 2026
