Welcome to 2CW!

Our wonderful Year 2 pupils have made a fabulous start to the Autumn Term. We are looking forward to getting to know the children.

We have lots of fun and exciting learning planned for our fabulous Year 2 learners this term!

We hope the information will help you support your child’s learning!

Key Information

Home Reading

Please return reading books and reading records to school on Mondays. New books will be handed out on a Friday. Children will get one phonetically decodable book and a reading-for-pleasure book.

Home learning will be sent out every Thursday and should be returned by the following Tuesday.

PE

Children need to bring in a P.E. kit every Tuesday. Please make sure your child has a bag with a kit consisting of a clean school polo shirt, black pumps and black shorts or leggings. School hoodies can be worn for PE when the weather is cooler.

Children can bring in a water bottle. This will be sent home daily so that it can be cleaned.
