Welcome to Year 1!  

Welcome back to the Spring Term. This term we have lots of exciting learning to be doing. Yr1 love completing their phonics daily and Mastering Maths. The class is full of enthusiasic learners and we are enjoying having more structured afternoons. We will be transitioning from having less continous provision  and more structured lessons, in the afternoon for certain lessons.  Friday afternoons are still filled with lots of continous provision!

Useful Information

P.E. is every Thursday. Please make sure your child brings their named PE kit to school in a bag.

Our next class assembly is Friday 6th March. We would love to see you there so we can share with you what we have been learning!

Thursday 5th March 2026 - World book day (Pupils can dress up as a character of their choice)

Friday 6th March 2026 - Year 1 assembly

Friday 20th March 2026 - Red nose day (Own clothes)
